Premier Studios won for digital design and development in the “best website” category for work with national disaster relief organization Heart to Heart International. The category was for organizations with an annual operating budget greater than $1 million.

The Nonprofit Connect Philly Awards draws an elite crowd of competitors ranging from marketing and communications agencies to association and nonprofit organizations. This year’s awards program was held at the Kansas City Convention Center.

“It is our unyielding belief,” said Gerald Smith, founder and CEO, Premier Studios, “that missional brands like Heart to Heart International deserve excellence in creative communication as much as or more than any brand in the for-profit marketplace. It is our goal to deliver it for them.”

The website, www.hearttoheart.org, was designed with the primary goal of supporting the mission of Heart to Heart International — to transform lives through service, one volunteer and one community at a time. The new site has empowered Heart to Heart to more effectively push out information and pull in support from the organization’s more than 60,000 constituents and 6 million prospects. Four months after launch, online fundraising has increased by 200% and donor acquisition by 300.

Premier Studios was also honored with a second-place award in the category of “best video” for its Heart to Heart International Joplin Volunteer Spotlight video about a volunteer’s experience with relief efforts in Joplin.

Premier Studios specializes in creative communications for missional organizations. In addition to Heart to Heart International, Premier Studios provides a wide variety of services for International Church of the Nazarene, SUSIE Magazine, Jewish Federation of Kansas City, Kansas Department of Commerce, Legal Aid of Western Missouri, Kanakuk Kamps and The Global Orphan Project, among others.
